602PC SUITE 4.2 File Association

Change file Association

If check marks were placed in the file association questions during the installation of 602PC SUITE, your .DOC, .XLS and/or Graphic files are associated to 602PC SUITE's applications (602Text/602Tab/602Photo). To change the associate follow these steps:

1. Find a file of the file type you want to change association on
2. Click the file ONE TIME so it highlights
3. Hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard
4. Click the file with the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON
5. Now select Open With...

   

6. Select the application you want to open this file type with for now on
7. Check the box Always use this program to open this type of file

   

8. Click OK
