- Enhanced the Word macro to include automatic numbering from Word Styles in bookmarks.
- Enhanced the installation process to not require the Windows system folder in the system PATH.
- Enhanced the InstallShield installation process to detect and warn the user about a previously installed component that can cause a conflict with Print2PDF.
- Fixed an error with certain types of transparency effects in PowerPoint.
- Fixed an error in the Word macro that would not correctly convert certain hyperlinks.
Build 5.0.05.1114 Released November 15, 2005
- Added the ability to insert the current page number through the Watermark feature (enter %P to insert the page number).
- Added support for gray scale (black and white) output (Print2PDF Properties - Printing Preferences - Advanced).
- Added the correct creation date and modified date fields to the output PDF.
- Changed the way Print2PDF handles a canceled print job. This should eliminate the errors 'Could not start print job' and 'Printing failed when starting the document'.
- Changed how bold fonts are handled. This should help resolve issues were some bold fonts were too thick.
- Fixed the installation error 'AddPrinterDriverEx: The specified module could not be found. (126)' that occured on some Windows XP machines.
- Fixed the Adobe Reader error 'A number is out of range' that was caused when converting a document with the GillSans font (from Agfa Corp, not from Monotype Corp).
- Fixed the error 'Print2PDF cannot be used in this way' when printing from QuickBooks 6.0.
- Fixed a problem where the hyperlink color (normally blue) would sometimes bleed onto proceeding fonts.
- Fixed a layer ordering problem when printing from an Access report.
- Fixed a bookmark export problem in the Word macro add-in.
- Fixed a problem with converting a Word document with an embedded EPS image.
- Fixed some 'Access denied' usage errors when the current logged in user only belongs to the Users group.
