| Progs on server bypassing proxy |

Programs on the same machine as Lan Suite seem to bypass Lan Suite entirely, neither the proxy or site access have any effect. Access is normal from other machines on the network. What could be causing this?

OS is Win98
Proxy is enabled in Internet Options.
"Bypass proxy for local addresses" is not checked.
Server IP is 192.168.0.1
Connection is dial-up

Probably because your connection is hosted on this machine as well. You would need to set up your software to access the proxy like you did your client machines.

I have set the internet settings for proxy server to access the proxy, but MSIE still bypasses the proxy.
