when i print a spreadsheet the gridlines are so faint you can barely see them.printer is ok.purchsed 4.2 april 2006

Try changing the cell properties to a different type of grid line. Could also be the ink you're using in your printer is too light. They show up as light grey by default. Look fine on my HP printer, but your milage may vary.
