Confusing query but here goes. My friend sent me a very simple excel spreadsheet with 3 columns in - one of which is prices in £ (pounds). I dont have ms excel but have excel 2003 viewer. The spreadsheet opened fine with excel 2003 viewer. I used 602tab to edit the spreadsheet and saved it. I then used excel 2003 viewer to check the spreadsheet is ok and found that all of the £ (pound) signs appear as a capital L with a diagonal line through it. If I open the file with 602tab again it is all ok. I can also open it with ms-works spreadsheet and it is fine. Any ideas why this would be ????

I have to open all my excell files on this program with the 602 tab. It took me a while to figure this out. I don't have excell so have to remember to open with 602 tab each time I want to open a file saved on computer.
