Topic is Open I downloaded the eval version, having been using v2004 for 2 years. I can't figure WHAT is the Groupware product! Does it replace v2004? If so, where do I set up POP collection? Or is it an add-on to v2004? Where is the installation and configuration described? I must be a real dummy, but I could use v2004 without any instructions, whereas Groupware 5 leaves me puzzled. :( WHAT is Groupware 5?

Topic is Open We have installed the 602lansuite for 10 users, we buy the 602lan suite 5.0 groupware server upgrade (10 users) and 602lan suite 5.0 groupware user pack (+20 users) we made the step-by-step installation but in the console of 602 lan suite 5.0 groupware the LNS: Service stopped appears. I need to enable this service to be able to make the migration of the information. Topic is Open Hi wish to switch over from pop3 with outlook pst file storage. does anyone know maximum amount of storage possible as would like to import several GB of pst files into database. Can then set up shared folders for several users. Thanks in Advance Steve IMAP Storage

Topic is Open I have installed the 30-day trial version to evaluate the program. One problem that I have encountered is that when I go to print an HTML based e-mail message, Groupware always changes the fonts in the messages to Arial 12 Point when the message is printed. This is a very large problem. The printed message does not look anything like the original e-mail. I find this to be a problem do to the requirements of filing correspondence for out projects and ensuring that the printed e-mail message is an actual printout of the original message. Changing fonts when printing e-mail messages.

Topic is Open OK..We have installed Groupware and my users love it. Document Storage, Calendar Sharing and new web interface. Great job Software 602! Unfortunately, one user who ONLY uses web mail wants the LS2004 interface of Web Mail back. And that user is the vice president of my client. The setup we use is that all emails go to our webhost to 1 email account bucket@ourcompany.com. We then use LS to download and send all emails and distribute based on user's email address. I have no problem running LS2004 for him, but how do I do it? For external emails, there would be no problem. I can create another user on our webhost user@ourcompany.com I would then use LS2004 to get the emails for the user. The problem I see, is that if an internal user, using groupware sends him an email, they will most likely get a response 'User does not exist' because he doesn't exist in groupware, only ls2004. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know there has to be a way, I am just stuck right now. 1 User wants LS2004 Back

Topic is Open We purchased a new Dell Dual XEON Quad Core server with 2 gigs, just for our email server. During testing I did not really pay attention to the conversion process as far as how long it would take to convert from the old version. After doing some cleanup, I started the conversion process at 1:30am Saturday morning.It is now 12:30pm on Sunday, some 35 hours later and the system has converted about 70,000 emails. That relates to about 2000 emails per hour. Fortunately, I think we should have about 80,000 emails total (about 10 Gigs) to be transferred so we will be ready for Monday morning (Hopefully). Is this about average for conversion rates? During the test phase, my users LOVED the new interface and added features such as calendar sharing & Document sharing. We have already identified numerous areas where LS2005 is going to be a real productivity enhancer for us. Thank you to the entire LS team. Just get to work on Active Reports and I'll be happy. Topic is Open Hello. We just installed a trial version of Lansuite 5 groupware. It is quite good and easy to use, but we have one small issue that we have to come over before we purchase. We are using Outlook Connector for our MS Outlook XP integration. When we create a new account, it is not possible to use the calendar and task functionality properly. Original folder names of Calendar and Tasks in Turkish is, Takvim and Görevler. So we are having 2 folders for each functionality. (e.g. for calendar, we have 'Calendar' which outlook connector is creating, than we have 'Takvim', created by outlook's itself.) It is essential to use 'Takvim' and 'Görevler' folders, otherwise we are not able to use the reminder functionality of Outlook. Is there any possibility to modify the folder names which groupware creates, so they would match with the outlook's folder names? Integration with Turkish version of Outlook.
