Topic is Open Robert, is this true? http://www.pcworld.com/article/17534-1/article.html I checked the software602 webpage and didn't see a free download, just a free trial. What's up with the PCWorld article? And, no registration woes anymore ... ??? For general usage, I'd still rather use 602Text, buggy as it is, than the newest, sweetest and grandest, MS Office 2007 Beta -- WAY 2 MUCH SYRUP. 602 suits me fine. Just wish I could get some minor problems fixed. Free?

Topic is Open I want to protect my tab and text documents with a password so that only I can access it. The help menu tells me to use the password for open command on the tools menu but I only see protect workbook and protect worksheet commands. These only protect the workbook from unauthoirsied changes, not openings. It also says this only works for documents in wpd format but what does this mean, and is this why I don't have the password for open command? password protection problems

Topic is Open I am having trouble generating a data table. I entered the formula and the sets of values but the table is only generating a single value. Does anyone have a clue what I might be doing wrong? Confused

Topic is Open BUG? It would be to have a normal, usable STATIC Date/Time stamp, but I tried the Date Field anyway to see if I could use it. Apparantly, it's a dynamic deal that doesn't interest me ... at all. But, I did noticed that in the evening (Mountain Time), the date was wrong anyway ... the field was tomorrow. Is this bug, or what? I guess there may a use for a dynamic Date Field that changes with the date in a document, but I sure don't know why a normal user would want one ... especially if it's for tomorrow. A dynamic time stamp (current system time) is certainly a mystery to me. Date Field

Topic is Open When I save a document it goes into the 602 documents folder. When I try to reopen that document the 602 folder containing the document doesn't come up, instead desktop comes up. Oviously the doc isn't there. I have to move to shared documents before I find 602 documents. Is there a way to default to 602 documents without this tortuous procedure? Thanks. opening saved file
